"Mugabe"style politics in Chicago

As an African-American, I am dismayed but not surprised by the "Mugabe" style politics we are witnessing in Chicago. President-elect Obama, who more and more appears in my eyes to be one of the best people to rise in politics, obviously knew how disgusting politics was in Chicago. So he got along to get ahead, tolerated the characters in Chicago in order to move forward. I know he must be relieved to be away from that shit. More on this later....
